Robert Burke and
Mike Lovullo (AKA Heebie & Jeebie)
have performed together in various bands and vocal groups ovr the years!
Serendipity brought them together in high school when they met, became friends and formed a band called Rhapsody. Robert on drums, percussion and vocals and Mike on the bass guitar, keyboards and vocals. They became quite well known for their unique blend of 2-part harmony style of singing -
somewhat along the lines of The Everly Brothers and Simon & Garfunkel.
Their Demi-Nerd act is well known for their fabulous funny antics & hat changes and
their re-creation of songs from the 50’s
& 60's ‘pop & country’ as well as performing lots
of fun original material and Childrens Music.
For 18 Years, Heebie & Jeebie performed at the winter & summer "Sawdust
Festival" in Laguna Beach, CA. Today, Heebie & Jeebie appear everyday on Orange County’s Cox3 Cable
Channel on the “It’s Curtoon Time” Childrens TV Show
and Regularly At Libraries
Throughout Southern California and Downtown Disney.
Heebie & Jeebie have performed at such functions as: The Walt Disney Imagineers Retreat, The Concern Foundation’s Annual “Celebrity Filled” Rodeo Drive Block Party, The Susan G. Komen Foundation’s Annual “Race for the Cure,”
at the home of Screenwriters/Producers/Directors Lawrence and Meg Kasdan (The Big Chill and Grand Canyon), for Cindy Costner, the former wife of film star Kevin Costner, Orel Hershiser’s birthday party
(the L.A. Dodger's
& Cleveland Indians’ star pitcher), Golden Gate Casino (Las Vegas) and for
the California Angels Baseball Club.
